This year's Dementia Awareness Week, 15 – 21 May, will encourage people who are worried about dementia to confront their worries by addressing dementia directly and seeking information and support.

Dementia can be scary and many people don't know where to turn, but Brecon Dementia Friendly Community is here to help anyone affected, because we believe that life doesn't end when dementia begins.

Please click here to see what is happening throughout the week - or you can contact Rhiannon Davies on 07940 961006 or Joan Brown on 07533 768575.

Click here to see a powerful film from the Alzheimer's Society which gives an insight into the world of someone living with dementia.

We hope that you will be able to join us at one of the many events happening throughout the week.
