Now in it's fourth year, Brecon Women's Festival marks International Women's Day on March 8th, by celebrating the talents, creativity and achievements of women in Brecon past and present. This year's festival is bigger and better than ever having extended from one week to three with an eclectic offering of events that will appeal to everyone. You can look forward to Art, Poetry, Crafts, Talks, Music, Workshops and the annual Festival Art Show which this year takes place at The Muse on Glamorgan Street. Contrary to popular legend, men are of course heartily welcome at all festival events.
This year the organisers are supporting Dementia Friendly Brecon by hosting a Dementia Friends Session on Wednesday, 11th March at 6pm at The Hours Bookshop and Café on Ship Street. All are welcome. See ‘What’s On’ for full details.
Festival programmes are available across town now; the link below will take you to this year's full line-up. http://www.breconwomensfestival.co.uk/info.html
