Rural Isolation? Share Your Story

Right now in rural areas of Wales, people with dementia are facing isolation and stigma. Due to poor transport links, they and their carers can’t access help. In other instances, younger people with dementia are put in the same box as older people affected by the condition.

The Alzheimer's Society are now working with the Welsh government to change this but need more voices to strengthen their case. You can help by sharing your experience.

Whether you’re someone living with dementia, caring for someone with dementia, or see the day-to-day challenges that exist, The Alzheimer's Society want to hear from you.  Please email Amy Kitcher at  [email protected] and someone will get back to you.

Thank you!
