The Elephant Who Forgot

‘The Elephant Who Forgot’ is a touchingly beautiful insight in to dementia.  Accompanied by wonderful, fun illustrations and written and produced by parents of the Caerphilly Parent Networking Group, the book is simple and perfect in its explanation of the disease and how it can be explained to young children.  A must read for everyone, parents included.

Rhiannon Davies, joint Chair of Brecon Dementia Friendly Community, is pictured below presenting Gill Eales, Head Teacher of Mount Street Infants, with a copy of The Elephant Who Forgot.

Copies will be distributed to all Infant and Junior Schools in the Brecon area. The purchase of the books has been kindly sponsored by Brecon Rotary Club.  Look out for copies in your local Library too.

This is a great book, I saw it at a dementia training session run by OT’s in ABUHB. I would like to purchase some for my local primary school in Newport, but can’t find it. Can anyone tell me the ISBN number please.
